There's been quite a buzz about Egyptian Magic for some time now. I've been slightly hesitant to try it because of the way it looks. Let's just say it’s not the most glamorous of packaging. Well if ever there was a time to use the quote “never judge a book by it’s cover”, it’s now! This product is great. I test all the products on The Grown Up Edit myself but I decided to give Egyptian Magic to a couple of friends too, just to see what all the fuss is about, we all loved it.
Its unique process combines six of nature’s most powerful moisturizing and healing ingredients to create a balm unlike any other. Created from Olive Oil, Bees Wax, Honey, Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly and Bee Propolis. No additives, preservatives, fragrances, chemicals or parabens and it’s cruelty free. It hydrates and repairs skin from head to toe! Use as a moisturiser, lip-balm, eye cream or hair mask (avoid the roots). It also works wonders on eczema and skin irritations. All this means it’s safe to use on young children too.
This product is a balm, not a cream. So it can be quite oily, you will have to judge over a couple of days what suits you best. My friends and I started on our faces. We used a generous amount as a night cream and a small amount in the morning as a day cream. It left our skin feeling moisturised, hydrated, super-soft and it softened my wrinkles! I also used it on my dry cuticles (a little present from autumn) and on my dry heels. It hugely improved the appearance of these areas within a few days. It’s definitely a product I will always have in my cabinet and in my makeup kit.
