It took a while to get my head around going grey, not surprising considering I was only 28. Now I’ve learnt to embrace it, well, with the help of my hairdresser. I’m afraid I’m not quite ready for the full monty. Don’t get me wrong, if you have all-over white hair or your salt and pepper hair is cut into a short crop or bob, it can look elegant and cool. Mine is neither!
So If you’re like me, I’m sure you won’t love the regrowth. It seems to appear over-night and leaves you with an inch of white hair that drains every bit of colour from your face. I’m lucky enough to suit being blonde which helps disguise my grey for a short time. Unfortunately when my roots become desperate, I don’t always have the time for that trip to the hairdressers. This is why I have become somewhat dependant on these root touch-up products. If you have dark hair then I’m sure you’ll find them even more useful. They're also perfect for the first stages of grey when you have a white streak but don't want to colour the rest of it.
