THE GROWN UP EDIT - Our New High Street Hero

Over the past year there's been a huge shift in our high street pit stop of choice and Mango is now officially reigning supreme. Whenever we're in need of a quick holiday shop or general weekend sartorial pick me up, the Spanish brand is beating the likes of Zara and Cos in the race for our attention. This love affair began around this time last year when the retailer switched their aesthetic and response time to trends with a host of lust worthy #mangogirls filling up our Instagram feeds.

The fashion sets response to these new street style focused designs has lead to pieces selling out in a matter of days but it's not just the premium lines. Their accessories, in particular shoes and earrings are some of the best you can find on the high street and start from only £10. The sandals I'm wearing here are from last year and the leather is such great quality that when the sun is shining I'm rarely seen without them. Luckily ASOS are stocking them again this season and at only £35.99 they're a no brainer. With a slight nod to the very current trend for anything with a circular metal feature, they are also understated and timeless.

This white linen dress was a bit of an impulse buy once I had seen how hot the weather forecast was for Aubeterre last weekend. I've been really drawn to linen recently and love the understated 'grown up' luxe it tends to bring to pieces. The cami straps and pockets on this dress still make it feel like me but the fabric and aline shape of the skirt give it a ladylike edge which I love. Add a straw bag and some oversized earrings and I was an Aperol Spritz away from my idea of holiday perfection.
