JANUARY BLUES BUSTERS

As yesterday was officially the most depressing day of the year we thought we'd follow it up with some last minute sale bargains to pull us out of the January blues. Many people think that the best sale pieces will be gone by now but it's actually our favourite time to shop as many brands add new lines around now with the biggest savings. Below is a round up of what we've already bought or have added to our baskets praying for them to still be available by payday!

THE GROWN UP EDIT - January Sales

1. URBAN OUTFITTERS was £80 now £56
I've been wanting a Persian style rug for a while now but they can be very expensive. This woven cotton one with a worn vintage floral motif is exactly what I've been after and I love the blush tones.

2. WHISTLES @ John Lewis was £149 now £55
An absolute bargain and such a gorgeous jacket. I'll be wearing it over a black cashmere rollback now and a cami dress in the summer.

3. ARKET was £89 now £44
I've been looking for a bright jumper all season and very nearly bought this at full price. So glad I waited for it now. I'll be wearing mine with dark wash cropped denim.

4. J CREW @ NET A PORTER was £300 now £180
The ultimate wardrobe staple. This comes in a slightly oversized fit with a pleated back making enough of a statement whilst remaining classic.

5. & OTHER STORIES were £125 now £63
We are obsessed with these tan suede boots. The perfect partner for dark grey denim now and dresses come spring time. Just be sure to invest in some Liquiproof to keep them fresh.

6. FLEUR OF ENGLAND was £105 now £31.50
By far a favourite lingerie brand, Fleur Of England's sale is not to be missed. Now with 70% off it's a great time to invest in some of their beautiful pieces.

7. ANTHROPOLOGIE were £8 now £2.95
Anthropologie are always our first stop for homeware bargains during the sales. They can often feel a little on the expensive side but they have a great sale and are perfect for picking up gifts too. Get an extra 20% off sale prices with the code EXTRA20 now.

8. GANNI @ NET A PORTER was £210 now £84
Nothing says spring quite like a floral dress and we love Ganni's pink and red rose-print offering. It's cut from black satin and has split sides for fluidity. We'll be wearing it now with trainers and a simple black rollneck.
