BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY

I’ll be the first to admit I’ve never thought of myself as a huge Queen fan but this movie blew me away. Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury. Freddie defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet and after watching this movie I can see why.

YOU THINK IT, I'LL SAY IT - CURTIS SITTENFELD

This is a witty compelling collection of stories from the author of The American Wife. The theme that unites these stories is how even the cleverest people tend to misread others, and how much we all deceive ourselves. Sharp and tender, funny and wise, they show Sittenfeld's knack for creating real, believable characters that spring off the page. These 10 short stores in You Think It, I'll Say It are perfect for anyone who struggles finding time to read.

Second it just happens to be my friend’s daughter who has quite a story that led to her writing this incredible album, included changing her lifestyle and going sober. Lala Lala is a Chicago-based indie rock band fronted by songwriter and vocalist Lillie West. They’re now releasing their second album, The Lamb.

SHRIMPS FOR HABITAT

The Shrimps for Habitat collection launched this week and there are some really fun pieces in the collection. It's quite 'out there' like the fashion brand but great statement pieces to bring the finishing touch to a room. “Inspired by some of Shrimp’s most popular designs, think make-believe creatures, colour clashing faux fur and other-wordly patterns. A signature palette of Shrimps pink and red underpins the collection, punctuated with accents of gold and washes of blue.” We especially love this doodle print rug for a child's room or nursery.

From the Booker Prize-winning author of The Remains of the Day and When We Were Orphans, comes an unforgettable mystery that is heartbreakingly tender and morally courageous about what it means to be human. A love story and examination of how we treat the vulnerable and different in our society. I slipped so easily into this book on holiday. Never Let Me Go was as engrossing as it was revealing.
