Clarisonic review

I was introduced to the Clarisonic by my mother who works for Lancôme. She’d been using it for a few months and had seen a great improvement in her skin. I always want to do my research before I invest time and money into a gadget, plus I was curious to see what all the fuss was about.

The claims were pretty impressive - Clarisonic removes six times more makeup than manual cleansing, cleansing so well that products absorb better - making skin more receptive to skincare ingredients (up to 61% of vitamin C). With regular daily use Clarisonic reduces dry skin patches, open pores, oily areas, blemishes and immediately leaves skin feeling and looking smoother, minimising wrinkles leaving a more radiant and youthful you.

The device works by moving the brush at a rate of approximately 300 movements per second. This creates special tension between the inner and outer bristles of the brush, which separates the dirt and oil away from the skin.

Two weeks in and I’m hooked. It’s like having a gentle exfoliator everyday so your skin feels incredibly smooth and looks more radiant – a bit like when you’ve had a facial. I’ve also been using it on my neck and chest too, as these areas are where I definitely struggle more with ageing. I do suffer from open pores around my nose, these have become slightly smaller in size. I also know I will love it in the summer when I’m using strong sun factors as they tend to block your pores. The Clarisonic will be a great preventative measure. The only negative I have with this cleaning system is whether I can keep it up! It's quite a commitment using it. Lets see.
