Tickled pink

As you probably know by now Wendy and I are usually more than happy to live in our little monochrome world of black, white, grey and navy but this season there's one colour that can't be avoided and that's pink. As someone that considers khaki to be an injection of colour in to my wardrobe you can imagine how hard this one has been to digest but I've literally become borderline obsessive of late.
I slightly dabbled in the trend last summer opting for washed out hues on sun kissed skin but fast forward a year and I'm wanting to redecorate my bedroom in various shades of blush and I've been living in these velvet beauties by Zara on repeat. Keep items oversized with a slightly masculine edge to avoid looking too girly and for some extra fashion kudos team your pinks with reds (a red lip will do) and light wash denim.

If you're not ready to take my word for it then spend an afternoon browsing the pinterest-phere and you might just reconsider. It's awash with all things peach and it's safe to say that this leopard has officially changed her spots (side note I also really love this trend when teamed with leopard print flats). More to come on this for sure as the future's definitely looking a little brighter through my rose tinted glasses.
